The band synthesizes sounds and experiences of: folk, jazz, funk, soul, metal, world, avant-garde and classical. Sounds of Africa, Brazil, China, Turkey, and the Caribbean find their way into original compositions which feature the talents of many extraordinary musicians.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>Just like the Earth provides our sustenance\u2026 our instruments and creativity allow us to awaken the gifts we have within, and integrate these gifts into our daily practices. Through music, we are seeking to deepen our respect for each other, as well as our respect and understanding in the ecological realm. We are focused on creating spaces where we can learn from each other and get closer to the essence of wholeness, and the interconnectedness of all things.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div>We invite you to take this journey with us and apply the musical energy to the places of need, to feed our essential health, and align our internal and external worlds. This \u201cmusic\u201d provides a template for understanding our collective creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and the connective elements of synergistic phenomena.<\/p><p>Wes has recorded or toured with legends such as Chuck Mangione and King Sunny Ade and George Russell, innovators like, Hal Crook, and Yazhi Guo, drum masters Rakalam Bob Moses and Kenwood Dennard, and guitar giants Stanley Jordan, Vernon Reid, and David Fiuczynski.<\/p><p>Wes&#8217;s work is not limited to the musical realm: with two masters degrees from Harvard University in landscape architecture and planning. Wes owns and operates a thriving landscape architectural design firm in Boston MA (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomaswirthassociatesinc.com\/\"><u>ThomasWirthAssociatesInc.com<\/u><\/a>). He also is developing a permaculture research farm dedicated to promoting sustainable practices with hundreds of edible fruits, nuts, fungi, and perennial vegetables, aside more conventional foods.
